How you recognize a jitter around 2-3ms anyway? Usually you cannot hear this small amounts. So I cannot have a kick from the 909 layered with a kick from the Rytm2. But as far as I know, that's inherent to the 909. There is of course the 909, that is not as tight on the grid as the Rytm. I only have a SR-909 synced via DIN, a Elektron Analog Rytm2 synced via MIDI and the modular system, where the Pam's New Workout is synced via DIN and another Pam is slaved to that. I´ve even tried a different computer, different sound card, different DAW and so on, all my dinsync-machines still jitter a couple of ms, maybe not a super big deal, but far from rock solid timing. Tried pretty much everything with no improvement, ERM hasn´t been very helpfull and when I try to google I pretty much just find people thinking it´s rock solid. Also regarding latency, the Multiclock can compensate. If you do not want MIDI beat clocks sent to all your MIDI devices, mute real-time data on the output cables for those devices.

All of them, 303s, 808, 606 jitter about 2-3ms in every direction. When MIDI beat clocks are transmitted to your MOTU interface (via a MIDI device or the computer) they are redistributed to all cables.

As a guitar player, I really dig the tuner and being able to tap a tempo into the watch and always having it with me is fantastic. I´m having a hard time getting my dinsync-devices to sync up without jitter. Ive got the tempos set in the app and it counts in all the songs for the band, we also link up on other projects so everyone with a Soundbrenner gets the beat.
